Theodore and the Grumpy Garbage Barge (retitled Grumpy Garbage Barge for American releases) is the sixth episode of the third season.
Plot
Working with Guysborough, the Grumpy Garbage Barge, turns Theodore's mood from good to bad. He starts frowning at everyone instead of saying hello, and everyone frowns back. The Dispatcher blames their bad mood on a lack of sleep, so he cancels the nightly storytelling session, which makes them grumble even more. The next day Theodore sees Bluenose. He always enjoys being with the stately ship and Bluenose has said that being with the cheery Theodore always brightens her day too. Theodore wonders whether his mood might rub off on ships besides Bluenose. So he greets everyone he sees with a friendly smile and sure enough, the others begin to smile back, even Guysborough.
