- "Oh, it's *wheeze* nothing, just the *wheeze* rain. Gotta get *wheeze* practicing again!"
- — Hank
Hank's Wheezy Whistle is the sixteenth episode of the fourth season.
Plot
Everyone comments on Hank's wheezy whistle, but Hank is too excited about Tugboat Race Day to pay attention to their concerns. Instead of going to have his whistle checked, he secretly goes to the cove to practice. It doesn't take long before Hank is so exhausted that he can't even make it back to the harbour. Eventually, Theodore finds his friend and gently coaxes him to the repair dock where he is easily returned to ship-shape form. In the process, Hank realizes that by ignoring his health, he jeopardizes his chance to take part in the tugboat race. The young tug promises that next time he'll go to the repair dock at the first sign of trouble.
