- "Don't forget, Hank. This is our little secret."
- — Malarkey
Hank's Funny Feeling is the eighth episode of the fifth season.
Plot
Theodore has never met anyone who tells more outlandish tales than Malarkey. He is surprised that Hank believes the visiting ship's stories, but the stories seem harmless, and maybe even a little entertaining, so he doesn't really worry about it. But he should have. Hank is flattered by Malarkey's attention, especially when the ship compliments him and offers to teach him how to tow just like the big tugs. The only catch is that they will have to practice in secret at Sandy Beach and that Hank can't tell anyone. That gives Hank a funny feeling. He knows that he should always tell The Dispatcher where he is going. With Theodore's encouragement, Hank trusts his instinct. He tells The Dispatcher, who turns Hank's funny feelings into good feelings when he praises the tug for doing the right thing.
