Emily Drifts Off is the twenty-fourth episode of the fifth season.

Theodore has been playing practical jokes, so when Emily wakes up at the fuel dock instead of in her own dock, she blames the smiling tug. The truth is, Emily has been floating in her sleep. But because she is sure that Theodore is trying to trick her, she refuses his help, even when she needs it. As a result, she falls asleep while docking Emma Sophia. As if that isn't bad enough, the next night Emily drifts all the way out into the ocean. A worried Theodore follows her and saves her from an accident. Realizing what happened, she is finally convinced that Theodore was telling the truth. Knowing that she has to get some sleep, she happily accepts Theodore's offer to keep her from floating away by ringing a bell if she starts to drift. That night Emily sleeps very well.

  • In real life, Emily should have been tied to her dock.
  • When Emily turns away from the fuel dock, a space can be seen behind the area between her eyes.
